The idea
The seed started in college: a theme-based, social event application for smaller groups to find each other at real places. That senior-year business plan (then called Hiver) became the groundwork for what is now Tableful.
Tableful’s specialty is VIP seats — joining a table at a per-person price so solo guests, dates, and small groups get priority entry, a place to land, and the luxury of the section without buying the whole table alone or chasing friends for their share.
A first chapter went live around 2019; global lockdowns paused nightlife. Operations restarted in summer 2022, and the product kept evolving into the marketplace you use today — guests, hosts, and promoters in one account.
The through-line has never changed: use the ease of digital connection to remove the friction of organizing, and bring people together in the real world — around a shared table, literal or not — where the good part actually happens.
